Requirements

Must:
- Proven experience in Linux kernel development or systems engineering at an advanced level. - Strong understanding of operating system principles such as process management, memory management, file systems, and device drivers. - Hands-on experience with system administration tasks including GPO configuration, DHCP setup, firewall management, and VPN configuration. - Familiarity with cloud security practices in AWS or Azure environments. - Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and proficiency in DevOps methodologies including CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or similar tools. - Proficient in programming languages such as C++, C#, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby on Rails, particularly for system integrations. - Experience with network protocols (like RESTful API and SOAP web services), virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi), and both NoSQL (MongoDB) and SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL). - Strong analytical skills for solving complex issues related to computer networking, threat intelligence, vulnerability assessments, and system hardening.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize Linux kernel modules and core components to enhance system performance and stability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system hardening measures, conduct vulnerability assessments, and establish security protocols in line with best practices. - Utilize debugging tools to analyze system bottlenecks and propose solutions that improve load balancing, resource allocation, and overall system responsiveness. - Contribute to the creation of scalable system architectures that integrate microservices, containerization (Kubernetes), virtualization (VMware, ESXi), and cloud services (AWS, Azure). - Create automation scripts using Bash (Unix shell), Python, or other scripting languages to optimize deployment processes within CI/CD pipelines. - Perform system troubleshooting and debugging for complex issues involving operating systems, network configurations (such as DNS, DHCP, and VPN), firewalls, and load balancing. - Engage in vulnerability management activities, including threat intelligence analysis and conducting vulnerability assessments to uphold system integrity.
