Requirements
Must:
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Certification(s) necessary for supporting an Epic application
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Application/Epic Analyst
Responsibilities
- Support the primary functionalities of EMC clinical applications to ensure cost-efficient, high-quality, and safe patient care
- Implement, administer, and maintain assigned clinical systems under the direction of the Information Systems Management team
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of assigned applications, ancillary systems, and health system operations
- Address issues and make design decisions that are moderately to highly complex, and communicate these clearly through documentation
- Oversee software upgrades and routine maintenance
- Serve as the Project Manager for major Information Systems initiatives
- Coordinate application support with various IT teams including System Administrators, DBAs, Networking, Reporting, and Help Desk
- Execute modifications following documented procedures in compliance with departmental policies
- Provide resolutions for work orders, trouble tickets, and projects related to assigned departments
