Requirements
Must:
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on empathetic listening
- Degree in engineering or a technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- Background in customer service, product support, technical sales, or application engineering
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Self-driven, able to identify tasks that require attention and execute them
- Knowledge of Windows servers, troubleshooting Windows OS, networking, and virtual machines
- Experience with SQL database management including building queries and connections
- Enthusiastic about learning new software and hardware
- Proficient typing skills
- Independent and proactive in finding solutions
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for our annual clients
- Conduct software installation and configuration
- Design, install, configure, and test systems
- Support mechanical components of bar code, vision, and printing systems (processors, cameras, lights, printers, scanners, etc.)
- Train and guide end-users on software use
- Write technical articles and updates for our online knowledge base
- Oversee project management tasks
- Travel occasionally, primarily within Southern California
- Assist with network connectivity and Azure support
