Requirements
Must:
- Technology certification or an Associates/Bachelors degree in computer science or a related technical field
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, Google Suite, Windows 10, as well as Mac and Chromebook operating systems
- Strong dedication to customer service, aiming to deliver an outstanding experience for all staff and students
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess priorities based on situational needs, deadlines, and solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex technical information in clear and simple terms
- Capability to handle challenging and sensitive situations effectively, maintaining positive relationships with internal and external clients
- Ability to work autonomously under general guidelines while showing initiative and a desire for professional growth within the organization
- Must possess reliable transportation for travel between school locations
- Must be able to successfully complete an FBI/BCI background check
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the ticketing management system at the site, addressing all technical support requests promptly and professionally
- Communicate clearly and effectively with faculty, administration, and technicians to troubleshoot daily technical issues in the educational setting
- Diagnose, repair, and deploy various classroom technologies, including PCs, printers, projectors, Chromebooks, and iPads
- Assist in the maintenance and operation of enterprise client/server relationships and other systems utilized by specific school departments
- Support the Network Engineer with specific tasks as needed
- Collaborate with the Programs Manager and other staff in user account management, creation of organizational units, and password resets within Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365 Management Console, and Google Admin Console
- Maintain detailed records of work performed in a ticket tracking system, monitor the work queue for maximum efficiency, and create documentation for recurring issues to enhance the knowledge base
- Deliver professional development training for faculty and administration on integrating new technology in the classroom
- Manage relationships with external vendors, including ordering replacement warranty parts and assisting in the planning of new equipment acquisitions
