Requirements
Must:
- Technology certification, Associates or Bachelors degree in computer science or a related technical field
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, Google Suite, and operating systems like Windows 10, Mac, and Chromebook
- Strong commitment to customer service, aiming to create outstanding experiences for staff and students
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the capability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to simplify complex technical concepts
- Capacity to handle challenging and sensitive situations while maintaining positive relationships
- Ability to work independently under general operational guidelines and a desire to advance within the organization
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the site locations ticketing management system, addressing technical support issues swiftly and professionally
- Communicate effectively with faculty, administration, and technicians to resolve daily technical challenges in the educational setting
- Diagnose, repair, and deploy PCs, printers, projectors, Chromebooks, iPads, and other classroom technologies
- Support the maintenance and operation of client/server systems and other hosted solutions used by specific departments
- Collaborate with the Network Engineer on special projects as needed
- Assist the Programs Manager and other team members with user account creation and password resets in Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, and Google Admin Console
- Document all work in a ticket tracking system to maximize efficiency and create a knowledge base for common issues
- Present professional development training for faculty and administration regarding new technological integrations
- Manage relationships with external vendors, including ordering replacement parts and coordinating new equipment purchases
