UX Designer - JPC

- Minimum 5 years of experience in User Experience (UX) design for web-based applications - At least 4 years of experience in designing compliant webpages according to WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards or higher - 5 years of experience in developing wireframes, prototypes, and mockups - 3 years of expertise in information architecture and design - 2 years of user experience design in an agile development setting - Bachelors degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or Graphic Design is preferred - Proven experience in implementing accessibility and inclusive design best practices - Background in user research and persona development - Experience in usability testing and analysis - Skills in data analysis and application of metrics - Experience with responsive and adaptive design - Visual design and user interface (UI) design aptitude - Understanding of design principles and aesthetics - Familiarity with universal design principles - Proven project management skills demonstrating strong time management and organizational abilities - Experience with mobile app UI/UX for ticketing or payment systems - Knowledge of transit fare structures, ticket vending machines, and validation devices - Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Blazor) for effective collaboration - Exposure to data-driven design using analytics related to transit user behavior - Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies and tools - Strong empathy for users along with user-centric thinking - Critical thinking and creative problem-solving capabilities - UX certifications or training related to accessibility standards and Agile methodologies - Proficiency in working with Figma
