Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Over 10 years of experience in systems administration.
- Proficient in RHEL Linux 8/9 administration and patch management.
- Experience with Linux server builds and custom configurations.
- Expertise in performance tuning of Oracle database servers.
- Knowledge of server security vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with SolarWinds monitoring solutions.
- Skills in Ansible playbook development and management of Ansible Automation Platform.
- Competence in managing and upgrading Satellite 6.
- Operational knowledge of VMware systems.
- Strong automation skills.
- Proficiency in server migration processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, network topology, and firewalled environments.
- Basic knowledge of storage management, database administration, Windows administration, and cloud integration.
- Understanding of applications such as JBoss, WebSphere, Splunk, and HP ALM.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain RHEL Linux systems, ensuring efficient patch management and updates.
- Conduct performance tuning for Oracle database servers to optimize functionality.
- Manage security vulnerabilities on servers, ensuring compliance and protection measures are in place.
- Monitor system performance using SolarWinds and implement improvements as needed.
- Develop and manage Ansible playbooks for automation processes.
- Oversee upgrades and management of Ansible Automation Platform and Satellite 6.
- Facilitate VMware operations and support migration efforts as necessary.
- Troubleshoot server issues and provide resolutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall technology solutions and stay updated with the latest innovations.
