Requirements
Must:
- 10 years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing roles.
- 5 years of QA leadership experience overseeing or directing QA efforts on various programs.
- 1 year of experience with cloud-based SaaS implementations.
- 2 years of experience leading QA activities in multi-vendor or multi-system integration environments.
- 2 years of experience in executing manual and automated testing.
- Cumulatively, 2 years of experience in developing QA strategies, test plans, test cases, and metrics for assessing quality and readiness.
- 1 year of experience utilizing either Azure DevOps, JIRA, or HP ALM.
- 2 years of experience applying QA processes across Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall development methodologies.
- Ability to work onsite at least one day per week, with flexibility to increase as business needs arise.
- Preferred: A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Preferred: Experience with mass transit technology solutions, including fare collection, asset management, or operational analytics systems.
- Preferred: Prior experience in public sector, utilities, or transportation.
- Preferred: Familiarity with test data management, performance testing, and vendor validation processes.
- Preferred: Working knowledge of automation frameworks or tools.
- Preferred: Advanced degree or professional certification in Quality Assurance, Project Management (PMP), or Agile (CSM, SAFe).
Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct QA efforts on various projects to ensure high standards of quality.
- Develop and execute comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Perform both manual and automated testing to identify software defects.
- Collaborate with multi-vendor and multi-system teams to lead QA activities effectively.
- Apply Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall methodologies to QA processes.
- Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or HP ALM for tracking and managing QA processes.
- Analyze metrics to assess quality and readiness, making recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with established QA processes and standards across all projects.
- Communicate findings and coordinate with team members to enhance software quality.
- Maintain documentation of QA processes, test results, and performance assessments.
