Requirements
Must:
- 10 years of technical experience in IT networking and network security within the continental U.S.
- Associates degree in an Information Technology (IT) related discipline
- Active or recently expired (within 3 years) certifications, such as:
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
- Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewall Engineer Certification
- Palo Alto Networks Network Security Analyst Certification
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) in Enterprise or Security
- 5 years of experience with:
- Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewall services
- Intrusion Detection and Prevention using Palo Alto Networks
- Content Filtering using Palo Alto Networks
- Virtual Private Networks utilizing Palo Alto network systems
- Data Loss Prevention
- TLS/SSL Inspection
- 4 years of expertise in complex switching, routing, and wireless networks with Cisco Systems
- 3 years of experience with Reverse Proxies and Load Balancing using A10 networks
- 2 years of experience with Network Access Control including Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Free Radius, and Access Control Lists (ACLs)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement robust network security solutions
- Manage Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewall configurations and services
- Monitor and respond to intrusion detection and prevention alerts
- Develop and maintain complex switching, routing, and wireless infrastructures
- Implement and manage content filtering functionalities
- Ensure data loss prevention strategies are effectively executed
- Conduct TLS/SSL inspections to safeguard network integrity
- Oversee Virtual Private Network setups to ensure secure communications
- Work with reverse proxies and load balancing solutions for optimal performance
- Maintain and enhance network access controls
