Requirements
Must:
- A bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Database Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- 5 years of practical experience in administering production relational databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
- Experience in backup restoration, disaster recovery, query optimization, and performance tuning within a production setting
- Proven skills in monitoring database health and identifying system failures or bottlenecks
- Proficient in writing, reviewing, and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions
- Experience in supporting applications in an Operations & Maintenance environment
- Preferred experience with clients eligibility platforms
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain production relational databases to ensure their integrity and performance
- Conduct regular monitoring of database health and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Implement backup and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard data
- Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for enhanced efficiency
- Provide support for applications in an Operations & Maintenance context
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall technology solutions for our clients
