Database Administrator - JPC

- Utilize experience and judgment to set and achieve objectives/n- Conduct thorough data analysis and manage databases effectively/n- Enhance and maintain data dictionaries and database models/n- Apply experience to optimize database performance and storage management/n- Direct the physical alterations to computer databases/n- Implement and test database codes based on user requirements/n- Determine user access levels and control data availability/n- Monitor and rectify database errors to improve functionality/n- Collaborate with colleagues to understand the impact of database modifications/n- Aid in the planning and maintenance of integrated database systems/n- Evaluate user requests for new data elements and integrate them appropriately/n- Ensure data integrity and minimize redundancy across databases/n- Conduct data modeling and create both logical and physical data models/n- Execute database recovery procedures and security measures/n- Develop test environments for application databases/n- Assist with installation and implementation of database software and standards/n- Participate in benchmarking database performance for enhancements/n- Help select appropriate database management software
