Requirements
Must:
- Experience in higher education is essential
- Previous role as a Business Analyst, Institutional Research Analyst, or equivalent within the education sector is preferred
- Proficient in SQL, Excel, and business intelligence tools or dashboarding software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with Student Information Systems (SIS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms
- Strong communication skills to convey insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Practical, business-oriented approach to analytics rather than focusing on academic theory
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain dashboards, trend analyses, and performance measurement models
- Integrate data from various systems into reliable executive-level reports
- Collaborate with senior leadership and functional teams to analyze results and suggest actionable recommendations
- Analyze lead-to-start and enrollment-conversion metrics
- Identify obstacles and opportunities for improvement throughout the student lifecycle
- Facilitate data-driven enhancements in admissions, financial aid, student engagement, and completion rates
