Requirements
Must:
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Sentinel SOAR platform, with demonstrated experience in crafting automation workflows.
- Proficiency in scripting languages, including Python, Bash (Unix shell), and Shell Scripting for automation purposes.
- Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, encompassing VMware virtualization, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Knowledge of network security principles such as VPN setup, API integration, and secure communication protocols.
- Familiarity with SQL databases (SQL Server) and Oracle database management for effective data analysis and reporting.
- Experience working within Agile frameworks and applying SDLC principles for secure software development.
- Capability to troubleshoot complex issues related to computer management systems, operating systems, virtualization platforms, and cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and refine automated workflows within Microsoft Sentinel SOAR to enhance incident response efficiency.
- Integrate Sentinel with a variety of security tools, APIs, and components of IT infrastructure, including VMware, AWS, Azure, and Oracle databases.
- Develop and maintain playbooks utilizing scripting languages like Python, Bash (Unix shell), and Shell Scripting to facilitate rapid threat containment.
- Collaborate with IT teams to set up secure network configurations involving VPNs, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), DevOps practices, and virtualization technologies.
- Monitor security alerts generated by Sentinel; analyze incidents; coordinate response efforts across teams using APIs and automation scripts.
- Conduct regular health assessments of IT infrastructure components, including operating systems and virtualization platforms, to ensure optimal performance.
- Document processes, workflows, and incident reports following Agile methodologies for continuous improvement.
