Staff Software Engineer - Java/SpringBoot

- Formulate technical strategies for complex requirements with innovative approaches that extend beyond the immediate team to solve significant challenges - Contribute to developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects and programs - Oversee technical architecture, design, prototyping, and implementation in line with product requirements and overall technology strategy - Provide leadership and technical insight to establish a technical plan and backlog, ensuring successful execution through to production delivery - Steer a broad functional area and lead efforts alongside team members in overall planning - Represent engineering in cross-functional collaboration and effectively communicate persuasive arguments - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to innovate and define new features - Take ownership of features or systems, ensuring their long-term viability and enhancing the health of complementary systems - Assist operational teams in quickly identifying and resolving production issues - Develop and execute tests to ensure our applications quality, performance, and scalability - Continuously seek to enhance engineering standards, tools, and processes - Uphold the companys commitment to risk management along with the protection of systems and data integrity
