Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related technical field
- Eight or more years of relevant experience in the technology sector
- At least seven years of experience in building distributed systems, SaaS, or cloud solutions
- Hands-on experience with Docker
- Two or more years developing front-end solutions, familiar with modern frameworks (Angular/React)
- Six or more years of experience with Java/Spring, proficient in Maven/Gradle
- Proven track record of delivering critical business systems to market
- Strong ability to collaborate and influence team dynamics
- Experience designing and developing scalable systems
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging frameworks like Pub/Sub and Kafka
- Working experience with cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Knowledge of advanced engineering practices including CI/CD, testing, and secure coding
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) best practices, Agile methodologies, and DevOps
- Must pass background and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Develop technical strategies to tackle complex requirements with innovative approaches
- Engage in the strategic evolution of methods and evaluation standards for projects
- Oversee all facets of technical architecture, design, and implementation to meet product and technology goals
- Lead the development of a technical plan and backlog, ensuring execution from design to production
- Provide guidance across a broad functional area and coordinate team planning efforts
- Represent engineering in cross-team discussions, articulating sound reasoning to drive consensus
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to build new features and product descriptions
- Take ownership of features or systems, ensuring their long-term health and the integration of surrounding systems
- Support operations teams by swiftly identifying and resolving production issues
- Create and execute tests to ensure the quality, performance, and scalability of applications
- Continuously explore avenues to enhance engineering standards and processes
- Uphold the companys commitment to risk management and protect data integrity
