Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- Proficient in programming languages: Java, C#, C++, or Objective-C
- Strong understanding of SQL or PL/SQL and relational database concepts
- Familiarity with automated functional testing frameworks, such as Cucumber or Selenium
- Competence in using Unix/Linux command line and scripting
- Knowledge of secure programming practices
- Experience with source code control systems
- Understanding of event-driven/asynchronous programming and multi-threading
- Familiarity with Agile/Lean methodologies and iterative software development processes
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, and maintain software systems and applications
- Act as a technical authority on development projects
- Manage the full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis and design
- Prepare technical specifications based on business needs
- Maintain and document software functionalities
- Evaluate and implement new technologies
- Analyze code to identify errors and make necessary revisions
- Facilitate software design meetings and assess user requirements
- Work directly with end users to prototype and refine software solutions
- Ensure compliance with security policies to maintain confidentiality and integrity of data
