Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of three years experience in software development management
- Proficient in Full Stack development (Java, Spring, AWS Cloud)
- Knowledgeable in system automation and scripting (e.g., Chef, Puppet)
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., VMware, AWS)
- Familiar with automated testing and continuous integration/delivery
- Strong background in modern technology, architecture, database systems, and security practices
- Practical experience with open source frameworks and tools
- Proven grasp of Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, priority-driven environment
- Strong sense of ownership and urgency
- Capable of envisioning project objectives and architectural solutions
- Skilled in managing multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing diverse teams
- Must pass background and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple engineering teams and their activities
- Design and maintain Product Engineering components
- Supervise team-related costs, methods, and staffing
- Provide technical guidance on product design and engineering patterns
- Lead identification, enhancement, and automation efforts for applications and systems
- Ensure compliance with testing policies and procedures
- Contribute to employee selection, training, and performance management
- Engage in the vision and leadership of the Engineering teams
- Implement Agile software development best practices
- Keep management updated on team progress and challenges
- Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery initiatives
- Act as a liaison between Engineering and other company departments
- Advocate for DevOps principles and foster collaboration across teams
- Uphold the companys commitment to data integrity and confidentiality
- Develop and execute company policies affecting operations
- Establish and ensure adherence to budgets, schedules, and performance standards
