Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field - Strong oral and written communication abilities to engage effectively with various management levels and staff - Familiarity with Windows OS, Oracle, SQL, Microsoft Office, and Visio - Knowledge of applications like JIRA, Tableau, and SAP Business Objects - Proven experience in supporting ServiceNow - Capability to coach and mentor team members - Self-motivated individual with the ability to juggle multiple tasks - Exceptional focus on detail and accuracy - ServiceNow certifications are highly preferred

Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary administrator and owner of designated applications - Provide application and system assistance to all employees for the assigned applications - Troubleshoot and resolve issues, or escalate them to the Systems team or vendor - Design the applications to fulfill business requirements and ensure integration with other tools - Establish best practices for the administration and security of applications - Monitor, evaluate, and optimize application performance - Propose and lead automation initiatives using scripts and other instruments - Implement solutions to enhance customer and business needs - Research, assess, and guide the selection of third-party applications - Analyze, configure, document, implement, and support third-party applications - Investigate application incidents to find root causes and collaborate with vendor support teams for solutions - Evaluate existing processes to spot inefficiencies and areas for improvement - Collaborate with stakeholders to set measurable and sustainable key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) - Oversee installation and validation of vendor upgrades and patches - Track license usage and budgeting, providing forecasts during budget cycles - Handle change requests for application configuration modifications - Maintain the application roadmap and liaise with the Applications Administration Manager to prioritize tasks - Ensure timely and accurate reporting on status updates - Manage projects to develop new functionalities, workflows, and processes within the applications, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, user documentation, and training - Create and maintain user documentation associated with assigned applications, including policies and procedures - Promote user adoption through training and best practices - Cultivate relationships with vendors to resolve application issues and advocate for Early Warnings requirements in future releases - Uphold the companys commitment to safeguarding system integrity and confidentiality
