Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience managing large, complex projects in a technical or software development environment.
- Strong technical proficiency and experience collaborating with engineering or development teams.
- Background in financial institutions or similarly regulated industries with experience in data processing, application systems, and communication systems.
- Excellent team player with the ability to mentor and coach others.
- Proven skills in building relationships and collaborating effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams on complex projects.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to adjust your approach for different audiences.
- Highly motivated self-starter who can balance achieving results with fostering teamwork.
- Proactive in identifying opportunities for process enhancement that drive efficiency.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication capabilities.
- Significant involvement in the career development of others, mentoring, and sharing best practices with the broader community.
- Must pass a background and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Independently oversee multiple aspects of interconnected project workstreams in collaboration with various engineering teams to ensure the successful completion of high-quality cross-functional projects.
- Enforce and enhance Early Warning Services project lifecycle processes from discovery through post-deployment in compliance with Audit, Risk, and Compliance standards.
- Provide updates on project tracking, including results and metrics, to stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans for all phases, along with status reports on milestones, success criteria, deliverables, dependencies, and risks to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Continuously monitor projects, assess progress, collaborate with the project team to mitigate risks, and resolve issues as necessary.
- Define high-level technical requirements and long-term design, collaborating with technical leadership to guide end-to-end solutions while overseeing technical decisions and ensuring quality deliverables.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Effectively communicate concepts both verbally and in writing to varied audiences, fostering constructive dialogue and leading resolution of disagreements.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and consistently provide updates on project progress, risks, and milestones, enhancing cross-team processes to improve engineering efficacy.
- Maintain thorough project documentation, encompassing technical specifications, project plans, and status reports.
- Ensure overall project resources and budget align appropriately, maintaining project schedules.
- Uphold the companys commitment to risk management and the protection of systems and data integrity.
