Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of experience in designing and developing complex software solutions, with 8+ years in the FinTech sector.
- 1-2 years of experience in deploying application services in the Cloud, utilizing Containerization, CI/CD, and adhering to security compliance guidelines.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in developing technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills with exceptional public speaking abilities; comfortable presenting to all organizational levels.
- In-depth knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) best practices, methodologies (Agile, Scrum, LEAN, etc.), and DevOps principles.
- Demonstrated ability in designing and constructing complex end-to-end systems (full stack developer).
- Practical experience with technologies such as Java RESTful Web Services, Microservices Architecture, Spring frameworks, messaging frameworks, Oracle PL/SQL, JavaScript frameworks, etc.
- Experience in test automation across various testing levels (unit, component, integration, functional).
- Proven expertise in Object-Oriented Analysis/Design (OOA/OOD).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools (GIT, Chef, Maven, Jenkins, etc.).
- Solid understanding of modern Cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, MS Azure).
- Experience with code repositories (Git, SVN), bug tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla), and documentation tools (Confluence).
- Background check and drug screen required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product management to develop product strategies and define product specifications, ensuring they align with technology roadmaps.
- Act as a thought leader by sharing expertise on software engineering issues, industry trends, and emerging technologies, while mentoring team members.
- Take ownership of designing technical product architecture and solutions.
- Create and deliver presentations for small to mid-sized groups.
- Work closely with customers to gather insights on their needs and enhance Early Warning products.
- Partner with software engineering and architecture teams to shape engineering methodologies and disseminate knowledge.
- Develop, outline, and drive a technical vision for the departments future.
- Engineer product and application service solutions aligned with the technology strategy roadmap, focusing on business growth and operational readiness.
- Build relationships across departments to influence and drive strategic change management initiatives.
- Support the organizations commitment to risk management and upholding system and data integrity and confidentiality.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors, as the role encompasses more than the outlined responsibilities.
