Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Over 20 years of progressive software engineering experience, including technical leadership of large enterprise initiatives.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and operating highly scalable, distributed systems in cloud environments.
- Minimum 5 years of experience implementing cloud-native solutions using containerization, CI/CD, automated testing, and secure development practices.
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership through large-scale system designs and enterprise releases.
- Deep expertise in one major technical area, such as distributed systems, full-stack platforms, or cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to influence senior leadership and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with executive presence.
- Background and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a recognized technical authority leading the design and evolution of large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems.
- Drive architectural strategy, engineering standards, and critical technology decisions impacting multiple teams.
- Maintain hands-on engagement in architecture, system design, and coding, including the development of proof-of-concepts and resolving complex production issues.
- Lead complex, multi-year enterprise initiatives from conception through delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Data, and Operations leaders for cross-functional outcomes.
- Ensure solutions adhere to engineering best practices, including quality standards, CI/CD processes, automated testing, scalability, and secure development principles.
