Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years experience in customer support as a desktop support technician or a related IT role
- At least 2 years of experience with first-level troubleshooting of WAN/LAN, VPN connections, and desktops
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Active Directory and user account management
- Necessary knowledge of telephony infrastructure and its administration
- Proficiency in Windows 10, Microsoft Exchange Administration tools, and Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Network Infrastructure and Architecture layout is required
- Strong attention to detail is essential
- Must be proficient in identifying issues, reviewing data, and evaluating options
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills; active listening is crucial
- Ability to establish and nurture professional relationships
- Capacity to work efficiently and accurately under pressure while managing deadlines
- Strong organizational abilities, including multitasking and project management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service aptitude to handle diverse client interactions with a positive and friendly demeanor
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational and problem-solving abilities with a proactive attitude
- Background check and drug screening required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct troubleshooting on moderately complex technical matters with minimal supervision
- Identify, investigate, and resolve level two issues using deeper technical knowledge
- Provide support for two-factor authentication tokens
- Assist with iPhone and MiFi issues
- Participate in the onboarding process for employees and contractors related to technology
- Utilize a ticketing system efficiently, ensuring it is updated with comprehensive resolution details
- Manage the administration and upkeep of Active Directory users and groups
- Aid in the setup and maintenance of workstation and printer infrastructure for users
- Address information security events pertaining to user privilege changes
- Troubleshoot external connectivity issues for End User Compute devices
- Coordinate with other IT areas for timely problem resolution
- Provide on-call support for user issues after hours
- Communicate effectively and courteously with end users during problem resolution
- Document processes and procedures for use by other IT teams
- Uphold the companys commitment to risk management and the protection of systems and data integrity
- Stay informed about the latest industry technologies, trends, and strategies
- Complete tasks efficiently and accurately while delivering excellent customer service
- Follow any additional instructions and perform tasks assigned by supervisors as needed.
