Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Operational Research, or a related field
- At least three years of experience in data science, engineering, mathematics, or similar roles
- Proven experience in developing data science pipelines and workflows using Python, R, or equivalent languages
- Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries
- Experience managing and analyzing terabyte-sized datasets
- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques and understanding their impact on model performance
- Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, MLlib, etc.
- Competence in data visualization tools
- Able to write clear and maintainable production-level code
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Lead monitoring initiatives, including tracking performance metrics and identifying data quality challenges
- Validate models rigorously by providing constructive feedback during the development process and ensuring compliance with standards
- Independently explore and compile data to identify performance-impacting anomalies
- Write production-grade code in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Tackle complex problems utilizing large datasets
- Employ diverse machine learning techniques to address business issues effectively
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to identify problems and opportunities
- Present and explain results and algorithm performances to audiences without technical backgrounds
- Uphold the companys commitment to safeguarding the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data
