Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizenship and active Secret clearance
- Over 8 years of experience in enterprise networking (LAN/WAN/data center) in mission-critical environments
- Proficient in routing and transport technologies such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, DMVPN, IPsec VPN, and MPLS
- Practical experience in network access security, specifically with Cisco ISE and 802.1x
- Familiarity with enterprise-level monitoring and logging tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or Splunk
- Background in supporting virtualization and compute integrations, especially with VMware vSphere; UCS knowledge is a plus
- Capability to automate operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash; Ansible experience is beneficial
- Excellent documentation, communication, and cross-department collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 3 engineering and operational support across classified and unclassified settings, focusing on incident resolution and root cause analysis
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN and data center networks, inclusive of routing, switching, and wireless services
- Engineer complex routing and VPN solutions for the enterprise, leveraging BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP among others
- Establish and uphold network security features, including Cisco ISE, firewall services, and secure communication protocols
- Assist with data center networking and platform integration, including Cisco ACI and load balancing
- Support cloud networking and security configurations within AWS and Azure, ensuring hybrid connectivity and compliance
- Monitor network performance and reliability using enterprise tools; conduct proactive checks and remediation of vulnerabilities
- Automate network configuration and workflows using Python, PowerShell, or Bash alongside orchestration tools like Ansible
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network solutions align with mission objectives and compliance standards
- Lead and document network installation and upgrades, including DNS/DHCP and VoIP settings
