Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in systems engineering, capacity management, data analysis, or a related technical role
- Strong analytical abilities with a background in handling operational and infrastructure data
- Experience in supporting dashboards, reporting pipelines, or operational metrics
- Proficient in investigating data anomalies and collaborating for resolution across technical teams
- Understanding of enterprise infrastructure concepts, including compute, storage, backup, and virtualization
- Excellent documentation skills and experience in maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or technical guidelines
- CompTIA Security+ certification (required)
- Active SECRET security clearance (required)
Responsibilities
- Assist in the weekly update and maintenance of the enterprise capacity management dashboard
- Analyze dashboard data to detect anomalies, trends, and inconsistencies needing further investigation
- Collaborate with infrastructure, systems, and application support teams to research and address capacity discrepancies
- Monitor anomalies from discovery to resolution, ensuring thorough documentation and closure
- Provide engineering assistance to automate dashboard processes, including the integration of Commvault and other data sources
- Create, enhance, and maintain scripts or tools for data collection, normalization, and reporting purposes
- Update and refine the Capacity Management Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to reflect current methods, improvements, and automation strategies
- Promote continuous enhancement of capacity forecasting, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency
