Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in UX design specifically for the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or laboratory automation sectors
- Strong expertise with UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, or similar applications
- In-depth understanding of design thinking methodologies, interaction design principles, usability standards, and responsive design practices
- Demonstrated capability in conducting user research, usability testing, and producing actionable deliverables
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation and teamwork abilities
- Availability to work on-site in Boston, MA at least three days per week
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute user research, interviews, and usability testing with scientific staff and stakeholders
- Analyze findings and create mental models, customer journey maps, and service blueprints to guide design decisions
- Develop site maps, navigation flows, wireframes, and prototypes for the internal portal
- Share research insights, findings, and design suggestions with clients and internal teams
- Collaborate with content and design leads on hierarchy, taxonomy, and interaction design aspects
- Work closely with the Business Analyst and cross-functional teams throughout the entire design and development process

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to become a key member of our team, collaborating with a prominent life sciences client for a long-term temporary role. You will significantly contribute to the design of an advanced internal portal aimed at optimizing laboratory automation and drug discovery research. This is an on-site opportunity that requires presence in our Boston office for a minimum of three days each week.
