Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience with Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows, MLflow) and contemporary data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Profound knowledge of enterprise data architecture, including data lakes, lakehouses, data mesh, and streaming architectures
- Demonstrated ability to persuade senior stakeholders and translate technical strategies into business language
- A natural communicator and storyteller with a consultative approach and the capacity to lead without direct authority
- Background in both pre-sales and delivery, adept at transitioning between execution and strategic advisory roles
Responsibilities
- Oversee and synchronize initiatives across various data and AI sectors, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals
- Connect business and technological requirements, converting intricate needs into scalable data platform solutions
- Partner with EPAM leadership to influence strategic investments and foster innovation within the Data & Analytics field
- Design and implement modern cloud-native architectures using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog, creating scalable Lakehouse structures
- Lead cross-functional advisory and delivery teams to guarantee actionable insights and measurable business impact
- Create and advocate for technological frameworks including blueprints, reference architectures, and accelerators for data modernization
- Offer technical guidance while integrating AI/ML capabilities into data ecosystems, supporting proposals and effectively conveying technical solutions
