- A technical diploma or certification in electronics, computer hardware, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in repairing and maintaining IT and network hardware within a data center setting.
- Familiarity with equipment from Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and x86 server platforms is greatly valued.
- Strong organizational abilities to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities, particularly in fast-paced environments.
- A valid driver’s license and the physical capacity to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities
- I will perform hands-on repairs and replacements of malfunctioning hardware components in data center equipment, such as power supplies, fans, and network cards.
- I’ll oversee the lifecycle management of hardware components, from installation and troubleshooting to decommissioning and recycling.
- Conducting physical inspections and routine maintenance to guarantee operational reliability is part of my responsibilities.
- I will manage the inventory of spare parts and hardware components to ensure availability for repairs and upgrades.
- Collaborating with technical teams to coordinate replacement activities and minimize downtime during hardware failures will be crucial.
- I’ll document repair activities, maintain accurate maintenance logs, and update system configurations as necessary.
- Executing basic physical layer troubleshooting, including cable and port testing, will be part of my role to ensure connectivity and performance standards.
- Supporting the implementation of new hardware installations and physical configurations of network and server infrastructure will also fall under my purview.
- I will participate in emergency response teams to resolve urgent hardware issues.

The compensation ranges from $26.45-$31.25 per hour for day shifts and $31.25-$36.06 per hour for night shifts. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off, sick days, holidays, and a 401(k) retirement plan with a company match. Additionally, there’s a one-time sign-on bonus of $2,500 available upon acceptance of the role by December 19, 2025, contingent upon continued employment.
