Requirements
Must:
I am looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes.
- A strong background in architecture, systems and subsystem requirements, systems engineering processes, and the development and maintenance of Concepts of Operations (CONOPS).
- Technical skills to understand and analyze system problems, define potential solutions, and conduct in-depth technical analysis, assessments, and trades. You should be able to explain the results of technical studies in a systems engineering context.
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts and protocols, as well as network security methodologies.
- Demonstrated understanding of performance and requirements analysis techniques, and acceptance testing strategies/methodologies.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and methods that apply to software development and the implementation of a Zero Trust architecture.
- An active DoD Secret Security Clearance is required for this position, and you must be a U.S. Citizen.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to perform the following duties:
- Provide systems engineering and integration technical support for satellite communications network systems, including Telemetry, Tracking & Control (TT&C), scheduling, communications, and associated systems.
- Engineer system architectures and conduct requirements analysis and decomposition, including system performance tests and verification.
- Analyze user needs and requirements to plan architecture effectively.
- Review and assess contractor designs and conduct trade studies on alternative system design approaches.
- Support the development of and review all levels of planning guidance in support of cyber operations.
- Assist in planning system of systems engineering, integrating networks, databases, and software.
- Provide analysis and recommendations on how to mitigate Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) line items.
