Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems; other degrees will be considered with relevant work experience
- 7 years of software development, encompassing architecture, object-oriented design, coding, and testing
- Extensive experience in one or more of the following: Python, Java, or Go
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js
- Practical experience in developing web applications utilizing microservices architecture
- Familiarity with database technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and others
- Experience with Docker, AWS, and/or Azure, and Kubernetes for containerization, cloud services, and orchestration
- Proficient in using GitLab or equivalent tools for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities
- Strong enthusiasm for research, addressing complex challenges, and ongoing learning of new technologies
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (both oral and written), and presentation abilities
- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN WITH THE ABILITY TO ACQUIRE AND MAINTAIN A DOD SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, analyze, and engineer software prototypes and/or applications in a multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with stakeholders to accurately define problem spaces and visions to establish capabilities and priorities
- Engage in the entire software development lifecycle, including user story creation, design, development, automated testing, and operational support
- Create user-friendly interfaces that facilitate efficient data management and system oversight
- Innovate and develop new visualization features to align with changing end-user needs
- Work with complex algorithms to deliver optimized solutions for end users
- Assess software maintainability and compliance with user requirements based on department standards
- Promote continuous improvement through recommendations for processes and tools
- Guide and mentor team members by sharing innovative ideas and best practices in the industry
