Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or information systems; other relevant degrees will be considered with adequate work experience
- 7 years of experience in DevOps software development and infrastructure design
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Capable of designing, implementing, and managing secure cloud infrastructure solutions (AWS, Azure)
- Experienced in maintaining CI/CD pipelines with security best practices (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)
- Knowledgeable in release management and deployment of microservices within a Kubernetes environment (AWS EKS, Azure AKS)
- Strong understanding of Helm charts for deploying Docker-based microservices
- Familiar with logging, monitoring, and alerting capabilities using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK Stack
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong passion for research, addressing complex challenges, and continually learning new technologies
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills with effective oral and written communication abilities
- Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance

- Maintain and enhance Helm charts for deploying Docker-based microservices
- Assist in release management and deployment of microservices in a Kubernetes setting (AWS EKS, Azure AKS)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, security monitoring, and automate incident response
- Collaborate with developers to enforce secure coding practices and conduct application security testing
- Deploy DevOps practices to streamline software engineering workflows across various projects
- Establish foundational processes that will significantly impact the success of the software team and organization
- Collaborate directly with internal and external stakeholders to understand evolving requirements and key technologies
- Initiate agile development teams and oversee the establishment of DevOps pipelines in both on-premises and cloud environments
