Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant technical field such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering
- 8–12 years of professional experience in systems engineering, integration strategy, or capability development
- Proven experience in SATCOM, space systems, or mission operations
- Capability to convert operational requirements into structured and strategic capability definitions
- Strong communication, facilitation, and analytical skills with experience collaborating across various teams
- Understanding of DoD acquisition processes, systems engineering, and integration within the space enterprise
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Responsibilities
- Define, refine, and document user and stakeholder requirements for satellite communications
- Collaborate with operators and mission owners to address operational gaps and develop effective solutions
- Ensure proposed capabilities align with SSCs SATCOM enterprise architecture and modernization goals
- Facilitate discussions to transition user requests into mission-focused, user-centered solutions
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including SE&I, cyber, and software experts to ensure integration
- Break down high-level capability objectives into actionable program deliverables for development cycles
- Create and present roadmap strategies and integration concepts to both government and contractor leadership
