Mid-Level Engineer

- A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (systems, electronic, avionics, computer, etc.) is required (or equivalent experience of 5 years). - A minimum of 10-15 years of experience is needed; a Master's degree may substitute for 3 years, and a PhD may replace 7 years of experience. - A robust background in requirements analysis, system design, and lifecycle engineering, capable of supporting both new and legacy systems. - Experience in conducting system performance assessments, testing and evaluation activities, and performing technical risk analyses. - Proficiency in communications systems and enterprise security engineering practices. - Familiarity with configuration management (CM) practices, encompassing baseline tracking, documentation maintenance, and support for audits. - Practical experience with network engineering and planning, including assessing system changes for security and compliance repercussions. - Knowledge of NIST cybersecurity standards frameworks and ability to apply these in system integration and compliance processes. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools such as MS Teams, SharePoint, and Jira/Confluence. - Strong technical writing and communication abilities, capable of preparing reports, test documentation, and presentations for mid-level management and technical teams. - Eligibility to secure and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is a requirement.
