Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-4 years of experience in system administration, cybersecurity, or network support
- Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, NIST SP 800-53)
- Knowledge of STIGs, system hardening, and vulnerability management tools
- Basic understanding of network protocols and encryption systems
- Must possess (or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire) a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification such as Security+ CE
- Active TS/SCI clearance, valid only for U.S. citizens
- Experience with COMSEC operations or key management systems (desired)
- Familiarity with MBSE SAM, eMASS, or Cameo (desired)
- Exposure to DevSecOps or CI/CD environments (desired)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) (desired)
- Strong analytical, communication skills, and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Support the integration of FORGE Framework and Satellite Vendor Command & Control (C2) software into MSOC and BMSOC systems
- Assist with the design, installation, and configuration of hardware, software, and network equipment
- Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and assist with cybersecurity controls as per DoD RMF and NIST SP 800-53
- Aid in the network setup for terrestrial and space-ground cryptographic systems, including configuring Points of Presence (PoPs)
- Participate in system roll-out, integration testing, and the preparation of security compliance documentation
- Contribute to COMSEC and crypto key management activities under senior personnel supervision
- Help to create and maintain documentation in MBSE SAM and eMASS for Authority to Operate (ATO) compliance
- Assist in monitoring the network, analyzing system performance, and troubleshooting issues
