Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent with over 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in C, Linux shell scripts, or comparable software test scripts
- Demonstrated ability in formal requirement creation and software test case development
- Experience in hardware/software debugging within embedded control systems
- Strong verbal communication skills for effective interactions in teleconferences with suppliers, clients, and team members
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities conducive to collaborative team settings
- Must be a U.S. Citizen to acquire and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
Responsibilities
- Engage in software integration and verification for embedded avionic engine and flight control systems
- Work collaboratively in a team-focused environment with both on-site and near-site opportunities
- Develop and execute software in a lab environment utilizing test simulation systems
- Create formal Requirements Based Test procedures to ensure adherence to DO-178C standards
- Manage requirements documentation, test procedures, and results using a configuration management system
- Conduct a blend of requirements reviews, software development, simulation testing, and system-level testing in an avionics lab setting
