Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent with over 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in C, Linux shell scripts, or similar software testing scripts
- Familiarity with formal requirements and the creation of software test cases and procedures
- Experience in hardware/software debugging for embedded control systems
- Strong verbal communication skills for effective interactions via teleconferences with suppliers, clients, and colleagues
- Excellent interpersonal abilities, particularly in team settings
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship
Responsibilities
- Contribute to software integration and verification for embedded avionic engine and flight control systems
- Collaborate in a team environment with both on-site and near-site opportunities
- Utilize VectorCast and Green Hills for software testing in a lab environment
- Develop software using C code or client-specific scripts in testing simulations
- Implement hardware integration and debugging as needed
- Create formal Requirements Based Test procedures
- Ensure requirements, testing procedures, and outcomes are documented in a CM system and traced via DOORS to comply with DO-178C standards
- Engage in requirements review, software development, simulation testing, and system-level testing within an avionic lab setting
