Requirements
Must:
- Epic Certification in at least one module (e.g., Bridges, HL7, Chronicles)
- Over 2 years of project management experience, focusing on tracking and planning projects
- More than 2 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Strong understanding of HL7, Epic Bridges, and EHR/PM interoperability
- Proven capability in leading technical or interface teams in client-facing situations
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Participate in or oversee on-call rotations to support critical production incidents and ensure swift resolution
Responsibilities
- Lead project delivery for Epic integration initiatives utilizing the Bridge engine
- Collaborate with Epic-certified analysts, technical teams, clients, and vendors
- Create and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables across various concurrent projects
- Facilitate Kick-off, status, and escalation meetings with both internal and client teams
- Identify and address project risks while keeping stakeholders updated
- Supervise testing and validation phases (unit, integrated, UAT)
- Ensure projects adhere to client specifications, Epic standards, and company SLAs
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including specifications, mapping sheets, and change logs
- Manage all aspects of multiple interconnected projects to guarantee overall customer implementation success
- Handle daily project activities and resource management, leading regular project status meetings with the client
- Provide status updates to internal and external leadership regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues
- Exhibit a strong understanding of how solutions will support client objectives
