Requirements
Must:
- Deep familiarity with healthcare data, including claims, EHR/clinical data, HL7/FHIR, RCM workflows, risk adjustment logic, or interoperability systems is essential. General experience in healthcare is not sufficient; candidates should possess hands-on experience with healthcare data on a substantial scale.
- A solid understanding of HIPAA/PHI and governing healthcare data is crucial.
- Over 10 years of progressive engineering experience, encompassing hands-on development and architectural design.
- Expertise in backend frameworks, data-processing technologies, and cloud environments.
- Demonstrated success in leading engineering teams in a SaaS setting.
- Experience collaborating with executive leadership to devise solutions and address technical challenges.
- Ability to convert ambiguous product challenges into precise technical plans.
Responsibilities
- I will oversee all software development and engineering operations to ensure swift delivery and high-quality code.
- I will design scalable systems and data pipelines that facilitate complex healthcare data workflows.
- I will provide hands-on technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and make architectural decisions as needed.
- I will establish best practices for engineering, CI/CD, testing frameworks, and DevOps maturity.
- I will directly collaborate with the CEO and VP of Product to identify customer challenges and translate those into engineering initiatives.
- I will serve as the engineering representative in strategic planning and technical decision-making.
- I will identify product or data-related hurdles and suggest viable solutions.
- I will build a high-performing engineering organization by hiring and mentoring talent.
- I will create a scalable roadmap to support our AI/LLM and data-processing requirements.
- I will balance short-term delivery goals with long-term platform reliability, stability, and security.
