Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, automation engineering, or software development
- 3+ years of experience designing automated workflows and business process automation
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated deployment pipelines
- Capability to convert technical expertise into strategic suggestions
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and R for automated metadata extraction and processing
- Knowledge of Federal compliance frameworks and automated compliance monitoring
- 7+ years of experience preferred in DevSecOps, automation engineering, or software development
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise automation and workflow orchestration preferred
- Proficient in engaging with various stakeholders both verbally and in written form
- Experience in designing automated compliance and governance enforcement systems
- Familiarity with SharePoint and PowerApps automation, including Power Automate workflows
- Understanding of API development for system integration
- Knowledge of AI/ML tool integration and automated documentation generation
- Background in cloud-based automation platforms and containerized deployment methods
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated metadata ingestion workflows using SQL, Python, and R for systematic data extraction across various systems
- Create automated validation processes including completeness checks, accuracy verification, and quality scoring with alerting and issue flagging
- Develop governance enforcement automation that includes accountability workflows, approval routing, and quality monitoring with SLA tracking
- Establish compliance workflow automation to ensure adherence to HIPAA, Federal regulations, and organizational standards with automated reporting
- Implement automated metadata harvesting capabilities targeting schemas, data elements, relationships, lineage, and quality signals across diverse systems
- Create validation frameworks to test metadata accuracy against manual inventory findings through rule-based checks and human validation processes
- Build automated documentation generation workflows using approved AI tools, including a mandatory SME review process
- Develop automated quality checks and compliance monitoring, including real-time dashboards, alerts, and remediation triggers
- Implement repository automation involving intake workflows, approval routing, version control, and audit trail creation
- Assist with federated catalog automation, focusing on metadata synchronization, schema mapping, and automated exchange with external systems
