Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) - Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or Specialist - Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) - Advanced skills in SQL for querying and performance tuning - Practical experience using Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query - Familiarity with data modeling concepts (such as star schema, fact and dimension tables) - Experience in troubleshooting data quality and performance challenges - Preferred: Experience with cloud data platforms like Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, or Azure Data Factory - Preferred: Knowledge of ETL processes and data pipelines - Preferred: Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices - Preferred: Experience in supporting large-scale or critical reporting environments - Preferred: Power BI or Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-300)

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain intuitive Power BI reports and dashboards in line with business requirements - Integrate Power BI with various data sources, such as SQL databases, data warehouses, and cloud platforms - Offer continuous database support, including data validation, performance enhancements, and issue resolution - Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for reporting purposes - Work together with data owners, business analysts, and IT teams to establish KPI definitions and data models - Guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and governance within reports and datasets - Monitor and resolve Power BI refresh failures and database connection issues - Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage access permissions in Power BI - Document data models, report logic, and support workflows - Provide user assistance and training regarding Power BI reports and self-service analytics
