Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline (business, finance, economics, computer science, data science, etc.) preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years in an analytical role within a related field such as data analysis, data engineering, finance, operations, or business intelligence.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, data visualization, Power Query/Get & Transform Data) necessary.
- Significant experience with analytical tools is essential (Power BI preferred).
- Familiarity with programming languages like SQL, Python, or R is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong capability in exploring and constructing intricate datasets and data models for actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication skills to convey findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, adaptability, and capacity to multitask and think critically.
- Proficient in ETL development, dimensional modeling, data warehousing, data visualization, and data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Create, sustain, and present detailed reporting, dashboards, and analyses on critical business metrics and challenges.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, revise, and assess functional and technical design specifications and solutions to meet project needs.
- Ensure consistent, reliable access to internal and external customer data requirements.
- Act as a primary support resource for stakeholders, addressing their data and reporting needs, and providing insights for informed business decisions.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the adoption of data consumption solutions across the company, ensuring user engagement and effective tool utilization.
- Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in analytical methods to consistently improve strategies and approaches.
- Lead analytics education and knowledge-sharing sessions to elevate overall technical competency in data consumption tools and analysis techniques.
