Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Architecture or Design - Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in QSR, restaurants, retail, or hospitality design - Familiarity with construction materials and products regarding durability, cost, and maintenance - Proficient in at least one of the following: Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Suite, Revit/CAD, or Bluebeam - Ability to drive as required

Responsibilities

- Review plans submitted by Architects, Franchisees, and Developers promptly - Monitor submittal and completion dates for all documents under departmental oversight - Disseminate information to guide company and franchise partner development - Track and assist in the review of plans from Franchisees and Operating Partners within set timeframes - Provide field support and education to Franchisees and Operating Partners on design and plan utilization - Deliver regular, accurate project status updates to management and stakeholders - Collaborate with outside consultants to produce and release Prototype Plans, incorporating operational modifications - Ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines as directed by the VP of Design and Construction - Manage proprietary designs and intellectual property to meet operational requirements - Engage in discussions and meetings to communicate concerns regarding building designs and compliance - Offer field support or Construction Management where required, acting as a Subject Matter Expert - Coordinate with construction and operational teams to facilitate timely store openings - Maintain documentation related to architectural designs and construction conditions - Participate in industry organizations to stay updated on design trends and techniques - Build relationships with industry professionals, ensuring alignment with company values - Review plans from consultants for adherence to brand standards and best practices - Interact closely with consultants to ensure timely development processes for Franchisees and Operating Partners - Complete other tasks as assigned
