SOC Analyst with SIEM Expertise

- Contribute to the development of cyber-intelligence tools and methods - Conduct research and analysis to reduce data and cyber security risks - Assist in formulating acceptance criteria for cybersecurity architecture - Monitor and assess network traffic, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), security incidents, and logs - Differentiate between genuine intrusion attempts and false alarms - Develop, implement, and adhere to SOC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - Provide daily and monthly situation reports per shift - Proactively review extensive data sets for unusual activities - Create monitoring content for devices such as IDS and SIEM, and recommend security measures - Initiate and track security investigations to resolution - Draft security alert notifications and other essential communications - Guide incident responders on investigation and resolution of security incidents - Stay informed on current vulnerabilities, attacks, and countermeasures
