Requirements
Must:
- Active TS/SCI w/FSP clearance
- US Citizen with a preferred BS in Computer Science or related technical field
- Over 3 years of experience in technical support or engineering roles for enterprise environments
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365/Office 365 platform and services
- Microsoft certifications (AZ-900, MS-900, or equivalent) to be obtained within 6 months of hiring
- Security certifications (SEC+ or equivalent) to be obtained within 6 months of hiring
- Experience in root-cause analysis and trend identification
- Familiarity with monitoring tools
- Proficient in system administration tools for Windows/Linux
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and documentation skills
- Exceptional customer service abilities with a knack for resolving issues in high-pressure environments
- Capacity to learn new customer scenarios or services rapidly
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, combined with empathy towards customers
- Proven ability to oversee multiple communication channels to meet SLA/KPI requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide customer support and manage cases through incident management systems while documenting ticket resolution information
- Monitor various communication channels (phone, email, Teams) to ensure compliance with SLA/KPI standards
- Resolve outstanding cases while regularly engaging with stakeholders to meet program requirements
- Update support cases to accurately reflect operational metrics and facilitate communication between stakeholders
- Perform validation testing as outlined in troubleshooting guides
- Maintain and manage workstation systems for day-to-day operations
- Troubleshoot client issues utilizing documented procedures to identify and resolve common problems
- Identify opportunities for optimization and automation within support processes
- Contribute to updates of technical documentation and troubleshooting procedures
- Deliver detailed status updates through email and ticketing systems
- Assist with root-cause analyses, ad-hoc metrics, and data discovery requests
Description
We are searching for a dedicated Customer Support Specialist to bolster our Microsoft operations team, which supports vital government cloud environments based in Redmond, WA. This role merges technical troubleshooting expertise with customer advocacy, acting as a crucial resource for diagnosing client-reported issues and coordinating the resolution of high-priority outages.
