Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience with ICT, Flying Probe, and Boundary Scan technologies, including programming, fixturing, troubleshooting, and testing parameter design
- Capability to demonstrate and present solutions for complex issues
- Proficient in utilizing multiple simulation and design tools
- Skilled in specifying design instruments
- Advanced proficiency in the knowledge, skills, and abilities of other Test Engineers:
- Fundamental understanding of engineering concepts, physics, and chemistry
- Familiarity with basic manufacturing testing procedures
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in technical writing with exceptional documentation abilities; meticulous attention to detail is essential
- Mandatory: ability to read and interpret engineering schematics
- Experience in ISO environments is beneficial
- Established analytical skills including planning, effective problem resolution, and priority setting
- Knowledge of DOE, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project
- Effective communication skills for customer interactions and projecting a positive company image to encourage business
- Energetic and adaptable, capable of managing multiple tasks seamlessly
Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of intricate projects
- Conduct design evaluations
- Guide and mentor junior engineering staff
- Define design standards and specify testing equipment
- Establish and promote best practices
- Comply with general team member requirements
- Manage the proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste generated in the work area
- Undertake additional assignments as needed
