Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Quality Engineering is mandatory
- 3-5 years of experience in maintaining production and inventory control standards in a manufacturing environment
- Proven knowledge of fundamental manufacturing and assembly processes, along with work measurement and standards
- Strong technical writing skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Demonstrated analytical skills, capable of planning, effectively resolving issues, and setting priorities
- Proficient in computer software including email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Microsoft Project, and MRP/ERP systems
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and enhance company image
- Skills in negotiation and conflict management, with a demonstrated capability in troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Ability to efficiently multi-task and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Other abilities as listed in the General Requirements for Team Members
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate all contractual and regulatory quality requirements for assigned customers and programs
- Assist all departments in controlling receiving, in-process, and final quality of products
- Recommend processes that enhance efficiency and quality
- Serve as the customer interface for quality issues and problem resolution
- Work collaboratively with sales, purchasing, production, quoting, and contract management to set quality procedures that meet customer expectations
- Interact with suppliers to resolve issues related to purchased materials
- Support manufacturing through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions to resolve production problems
- Help define and monitor the quality management system, fostering an organizational culture that emphasizes quality
- Monitor personnel and processes to ensure compliance with company guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Keep area supervision updated on relevant concerns
- Maintain necessary documentation
- Ensure proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in the work area
- Carry out other assignments as needed
