Requirements
Must:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and interpersonal skills
- Experience collaborating with diverse teams and managing multiple priorities
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly in both technical and user-friendly terms
- Capacity to work independently or with minimal supervision
- Effective communication and leadership skills to influence and guide teams through process changes
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related technical/business field with 2+ years of experience in continuous improvement, process development, manufacturing engineering, or business process management preferred, or 5+ years of relevant experience
- Profound knowledge of process mapping, workflow design, quality management, and process validation
- Familiarity with BPM tools, process simulation software, statistical analysis tools, and ERP/MRP systems is advantageous
- Ability to generate custom reports or dashboards within ERP systems is a plus
- Experience with Epicor ERP or Epicor Kinetic preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred
- Background in lean manufacturing and process improvement methodologies preferred
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development, execution, and enhancement of business processes to meet industry standards and internal performance objectives
- Manage the continuous improvement roadmap and related projects across departments, ensuring alignment with organizational growth and strategic aims
- Apply continuous improvement and process engineering methodologies to refine workflows and automate processes where appropriate
- Facilitate change management by communicating process updates and offering training or resources to affected teams
- Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics to evaluate process effectiveness and promote continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide support for all quality-related audits (ISO/AS9100/etc.)
- Serve as the ERP subject matter expert for the assigned location
- Conduct ERP knowledge transfer sessions covering MRP/Logistics/Finance/Warehouse/Quality and overall ERP functionality for the user base
- Assist in the implementation of planning tools such as the production work queue
- Create comprehensive user documentation and training manuals
- Develop and support New Product Introduction from design to the factory floor
- Aid in work transfer projects
- Safeguard and manage all Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) to prevent unauthorized access or dissemination
- Adhere to all visitor and security policies to protect ITAR/EAR/CMMC/CUI information from unauthorized access
- Ensure the proper management of hazardous waste generated in the work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain regular and acceptable attendance as an essential job function
