We are looking for an exceptionally skilled and driven Backend System Developer to enhance our team. The ideal candidate must possess a solid foundation in microservices architecture, API integrations, and database management, with a keen emphasis on managing high-volume data processing and real-time synchronization. Familiarity with the following technologies is essential:
- Framework: Node.js with NestJS (TypeScript)
- Database: MySQL (primary), MongoDB (for synchronization tasks)
- Message Queue: RabbitMQ for inter-service communication
- API: GraphQL with Apollo Server and REST endpoints
- Authentication: Passport.js with session management
- ORM: TypeORM for database operations

Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to:
- Maintain and scale our four core microservices
- Oversee the management of 30+ external API connections and data pipelines
- Optimize performance while working with memory-intensive workers that handle large datasets
- Engineer real-time data synchronization from external CRM systems
- Develop GraphQL APIs to support multiple frontend applications
- Handle MySQL and MongoDB operations and migrations
- Facilitate inter-service communication using RabbitMQ
- Conduct business intelligence and performance calculations
Description
Our backend system is established around four primary microservices, which include the Main API Server, Sync Engine, Metrics Workers, and CRM Sync Service. It serves as the foundation of our comprehensive business intelligence platform, adeptly processing data from a variety of CRM and operational systems. This enables us to offer unified analytics and insights for service-oriented businesses. The position is full-time with a competitive salary ranging from $110,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year and requires in-person work.
