Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience with Native application development
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Swift/Objective-C or JavaScript
- Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and demonstrate practical application
- Strong grasp of design patterns and integration best practices
- Solid understanding of data modeling principles
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large cross-team projects
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with engineers, managers, PMs, and customers
- Familiarity with Cloud Development Platforms and mobile/web development frameworks
- Experience with microservice architecture
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar preferred, or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years in software development
- 5+ years as a mobile developer
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects to develop high-performance mobile applications
- Investigate and summarize technology trends to offer informed guidance
- Mentor team members on effective use of existing platform components and performance best practices
- Engage in close collaboration with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to prioritize tasks that deliver business value while addressing technical debt
- Lead system analysis, design, development, and deployment for existing mobile native applications
- Transform user stories into practical design and functioning code
- Create robust, well-engineered code supported by automated tests
- Research and apply modern software development methods to enhance quality and team productivity
- Deploy code effectively across development, testing, and production environments, adhering to schedules
- Provide ongoing production support and manage change control requests
- Conduct design, code, and test inspections throughout the project life cycle to identify and resolve issues
- Participate in meetings for use case development
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
