Requirements
Must:
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Over 3 years of pertinent experience
- Proficient in Python and C++, with experience in mixed-language codebases
- Familiarity with building robotic systems utilizing middleware (ROS 2 or equivalent)
- Experience in machine learning, including deployment of LLMs or computer vision models
- Strong grasp of software architecture and system integration
- Capability to write efficient, real-time code within Linux environments
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Bitbucket)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work autonomously
- Strong communication skills and the ability to cooperate within a compact team
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and upkeep of essential robotics components using ROS 2 (C++ & Python)
- Create and integrate user-facing systems using Unity (robot display and mobile application)
- Contribute to the architectural and technical design decisions across robotics and application layers
- Develop effective solutions to practical robotics challenges
- Collaborate with the team to deliver dependable, production-ready software
